Why you should never kill a butterfly.

Big buck Bunny. A short animated film (8minutes). Free to download and actually very very good.

What makes it even more impressive is the fact this wasn't made using 3d Studio Max or Maya or another highly priced 3d animation package. It used blender. A completely free open source alternative.

I was shocked that it was made using blender. Not an easy package to get into (3dmax is easier) but the results speak for it's power.
