Naming and shaming quitters

Post  wewon5times on Tue Nov 03, 2009 2:31 pm

Last night I was playing fifa 10 online and 3 games running when I was winning the people quit on me.
I feel its time to name and shame these people on the xbox forums as it spoils peoples fun and makes me want to eat my controller in rage.
How does everyone else feel about scum bag quitters?????
The post is on the xbox forum titled
name and shame fifa 10 quitters here
I bet it will get taken off when the powers that be see it but its worth a shot at getting a few names up I think.

They are annoying, I just stick my DNF% to 25% or less when I'm setting games up and find that it weeds out most of the nubs that quit out when they start losing.

It is annoying but xbox.com will remove them. Just bad rep, avoid and adjust your game preferences.

I know this has nothing to do with Fifa but I have the same problem with COD 4. Me and my mates will be playing a game and kicking some arse and all of a sudden the game ends because the host has decided to quit. It really annoys me, hope they sort it out for Modern Warfare 2.

Its an annoying problem that affects us all, but naming an shaming forum topics are too open to abuse with people airing personal disputes too often than not. I say if you have a problem then avoid the player and leave feedback and if it is really serious report them to Microsoft. We have to trust them to sort it out Smile

I don't really have much trouble with this. I suppose there's an advantage to losing so much in some of these online games... Razz

Read an article in a mag this week about MW2 and i'm sure it said that MW2 has Host switching, so if the host leaves the game passes to someone else. This seems to be making its way into more multiplayer games now, it works in Dirt 2, and i think Forza 3 aswell!
